Emily’s third challenge for the month is a colour one and also the first one for this year’s Design Team call. You can find more information about the Design Team call on the CC&S Challenge Blog.

I love these colours and found a stamp set that I thought would do them justice.

Birthdays, Big on Birthdays, Challenge, Design Team
Stamped in Archival Black ink and coloured using Stampin’ Write Markers

and the inside
I Love the image used for the inside of all the cards and also on the
back of the envelopes
The problem was that once I started making my card for the challenge I just couldn’t stop. So, here are the others I made.
I did think about sharing them another day but decided to show them all today.
Stamped in Night of Navy and matted onto
Night of Navy cardstock

The Lemon Lime Twist was embossed using the
Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder

Each coloured panel was cut at 4.8 x 10.0 cm and then
glued to the Whisper White card base.
I think that the second card (the one with the Lemon Lime Twist card base) is my favourite but I haven’t posted it on the CCS Challenge Blog because it’s probably not quite CAS (Clean and Simple) due to the layers and the bling.
All of the cards have the image, yes it’s just one stamp, stamped onto a piece of Whisper White measuring
  • for the top card – 10.0 x 14.4 cm
  • for the last three cards – 8.0 x 11.5 cm.

The flowers and leaves were then coloured using Stampin’ Write Markers.

Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know which is your favourite. I’d love to find out which is the most popular with you all.
Also, don’t forget to check out what the other members of the Design Team have been up to over on the CC&S Challenge Blog.

  1. You have a terrific set of cards here! I like the contrast of the big, bold sentiment with the small flowers. As for your second card… wait 'til you see the sketches for November! 😉

  2. WOW! What a fabulous collection of CAS cards. Each of them use the colour combo perfectly and you've made it super hard to choose a fave. Love your stamp choice too! Hugs Bev x
