This past Tuesday, on my Facebook Live, I shared an adorable gift box using the new Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Acetate Card Boxes. As part of the video I showed people how I made the tag on the box.
I also mentioned that I would post info on today’s blog including a tutorial on how I made the box etc. This is now on the Tutorials Page.
Since making the box, I’ve also made a card to go with it. It seemed a shame to waste the label that I made on the video.
The card was very simple to make.
- Start with a 10.5 x 29.7 (A4 cut in half at 10.5 cm along it’s length) piece of Thick Whisper White., and then score and fold the card at 14.9 cm.
- Adhere a 10.0 x 14.4 cm piece of Basic Black onto the card front.
- Then glue a 9.5 x 13.9 cm piece of the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper on top of the Basic Black.
- Add the tag made as per the tutorial and simply tie the Metallic Silver Thread in a bow.
- Add a 1.0 x 10.5 cm strip of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card to finish it off. You can add an additional strip to the envelope too, so they all tie in together.
