Alas, this is the last Tuesday in the month so it’s the final challenge I get to set for awhile over on the CC&S blog.   Next month Emily will be hosting the challenges.

So, seeing as it’s the fourth Tuesday of the month, it’s time for a sketch challenge. This is what I have set.

I hope you join in the fun by posting your card on the link that you can find over on the CC&S blog.

In the meantime, this is what I’ve come up with using the Touches of Texture stamp set with a sentiment from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

I used some Berry Burst cardstock for the cardbase and stamped the images and sentiment onto a piece of Shimmer White cardstock (measuring 10.0 x 14.4 cm). I used both Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight to colour in the bees and flowers, with the help of a Blender Pen.
The sentiment, bees and flower were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. The image behind the sentiment is also stamped in Berry Burst but I stamped off onto a piece of scrap first.

I normally stamp the bottom right corner of a piece of Whisper White for the insert but made a bit of a boo boo this time around. I forgot that I was making a landscape and not a portrait card! Mind you, they still work great in the top right corner.

Don’t forget to check out all the fabulous cards from the other members of the design team.
