Hopefully you have all seen the notecards that I made the other day. You can check them out here if you haven’t – Whole Lot of Lovely Part 2.

Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to make something to hold the 5 notecards that I had left, and this is what I made.  I think it would look really pretty sitting on a desk or shelf.

The box holds 5 notecards and envelopes and could hold more if the front elements on the cards where not popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The box itself was made out of one A4 sheet of Whisper White cardstock. It probably would be a little more sturdier if I’d used the Thick Whisper White but I didn’t have any to hand. Having, said that, the Whisper White works just fine.

A side view of the box with all the cards in.

I even decided to decorate the back of the box. To be honest, it hides the fact that the strip of Designer Series Paper was not long enough for the ends to overlap.

I also decorated the inside of the box using the same paper that I glued to the back.
The ribbon wrapped around the box is the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon. You can just make out the shimmer in the top photo.

I think that this box set of cards would make a great gift and I’ll be including this project (not the same paper though) in one of my future classes.
