I spent Monday evening with a lovely group of demonstrators here in San Diego at one of their team meetings.

My friend, Cynthia (McQueen) has turned her garage into a fabulous craft room. Can you see a bit of a theme going on in there?

As a way of a thank you for letting me join them for the evening, I took everyone a notecard that I’d made for each of them.

The notecards were made using the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set.

These are the two that I had left at the end of the evening.
Of course, it’s not a Stampin’ Up! get together if there isn’t a Make N Take and Rita very kindly prepared a pack for each of us.
Here’s the card that I made. In the end I had to go a little “off piste” because I punched and adhered the piece of Peekaboo Peach cardstock upside down. Totally my fault because I was too busy chatting and catching up with people to notice my error before it was too late.

When I got back I noticed that I had a couple of blank notecards left. I also had a couple of hours to kill because I wanted to stay up until midnight (8 am UK time) to ensure that I was able to register for the next Stampin’ Up! OnStage Local (in November).  So, I made a few more notecards using other paper from the Whole Lot of Lovely pack.

The next step is to make a box to hold them, and I’ll post details later in the week once it is finished.
