Oh boy how the month is flying by.

Jane’s third challenge of the month is a colour one. I love this combination – so sunny. Fingers crossed that Spring is finally on it’s way.

I wanted to try something a little different today so I actually have three cards to share with you.

The first is my card for the challenge blog. So that I could stamp the sentiment in one go, I used Stampin’ Write markers in the challenge colours.

I love clean and simple cards but I wanted to share an idea of how to take the card one step further.

The second card is almost identical to the first with the exception that I stamped the background.

I’ve not used any new colours, I simply had all three star stamps on one block (to save time) and stamped off the colour (Peekaboo Peach) first before stamping the background.

In the third card I took it one more stage further, by cutting out some of the sentiment and raising the words on their own dimensionals. It does involve a bit of fussy cutting but I love how it gives a different look to the card. Because words were being fussy cut out, I was able to use ink pads instead of markers.

Don’t forget to keep your card Clean & Simple for the challenge.

  1. Awesome trio of cards. I love how the green really pops and you have used the other two colours as accents. FABulously CAS too. Hugs Bev x
