As some as you know, I was asked to present at the recent Stampin’ Up! OnStage Local event in Telford.

I presented one of the Product Spotlights for the soon to be released (4 January 2017) Falling in Love Suite. This meant that I was sent some of the products ahead of time and had to make a few samples. I had no idea what I would receive so it was a lovely surprise when I opened the box.

This whole presentation thing had it’s pluses and minus points. The plus points being that I received some fabulous products and got to play with them before everyone else and the minus being that I had to go on stage and present to 400+ people. In the end there were no minuses because all went well and I didn’t get stage fright at all.

Seeing as the Falling in Love Suite was the first thing I got to play with, I thought I’d share a couple of the projects that I made. First though, here are a few photos of some of the yummy goodies I was sent.

The above photo is of the So in Love stamp set (it will be available in wood and clear mount) and the So Detailed Thinlits Dies. I love how the stamps fit onto the blanks cut by the top and bottom dies. The photo below shows what the cut cardstock looks like.

There is a pack of yummy co-ordinating designer series paper (DSP) called Falling in Love, which has 12 double sided sheets (2 each of 6 designs). I haven’t figured out which is my favourite as yet although I did use a couple in my projects.

The photo above shows both sides of 3 of the sheets of DSP. As does the one below.

I also received some of the new Very Vanilla 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Satin Ribbon and lovely Falling in Love Embellishments.

Some of these products (and a few others in the suite) will be used January’s Monthly Classes (13th and 14th). Details of my classes for the first half of 2017 are now on the Classes & Events page, so please check them out.

These are some of the projects I made. I used some of the designer series paper and of course the dies.

I’ll be putting the 2017 Spring/Summer catalogues in the post this week, and you can come see these and other products at my Open House Event – 11.00 am to 2.00 pm on Saturday 7 January.

I will be posting other sneak peeks in the run up to the New Year so please check back and see what I was able to get as part of this month’s pre-order (a great demonstrator perk).
