You probably weren’t expecting to see another blog challenge post today, but I’m delighted to tell you that I have been picked to be one of the 2017 Design Team members.

This week the challenge is to pick one of the 2016 Sketch Challenges and make it seasonal.

I’ve opted to use the first sketch challenge of 2016.

So, this is the card I designed.

The card was made using Night of Navy and Pool Party cardstock and ink.

The Pool Party cardstock was embossed using the Lucky Stars embossing folder and then glued to the Night of Navy cardstock.

The sentiment stamped in Night of Navy comes from the Tin of Tags stamp set. This is been one of my most used stamp sets from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. I used an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies – these will be available for purchase again mid January 2017.

The snowflake stamped in Pool Party ink comes from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and it was punched out using the co-ordinating punch.

As you can see, both the sentiment and the snowflake are popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a rhinestone in the middle of the snowflake to add a bit of Christmas bling.

I hope you give this week’s challenge a go because it is the last challenge of 2016.

Just so you know, from January I will be posting my design for the weekly challenges each Thursday.

As always, please feel free to leave a comment and I hope you visit again soon to check out my latest posts.
