It’s Wednesday so it’s time for my entry for the latest CAS Colours & Sketches blog.

As you can see, this week it’s a colour one. Click on the picture immediately below (or the link above) if you would like to see what all the other entries look like.

I’ve opted to use the colours from Challenge #191 which is from 15 Sept, 2016.
Certainly not a colour combination that I would normally associate with Christmas, but I thought I would give it a go.
I do like this colour combination, but it may be a little too much for the traditionalists.

I raised the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals because I felt the front need something extra but I didn’t want to add any bling. I think it worked.

Of course I also stamped the swag on the inside of the card too.

Just in case you are wondering, the holly leaves are stamped in Cucumber Crush. I inked the stamp for the outline and stamped it first. I then inked the stamped for the inside of the leaves and stamped it off on a scrap piece of paper before stamping the image for the card front. This stamping off technique is one of my favourites at the moment.

As always, please feel free to leave a comment.
