Last night I opened a newly delivered box and couldn’t wait to start playing with some of it’s contents. Unfortunately though, it had to wait until today because I had set myself a task at the beginning of this week that I was determined to finish before I picked up any ink or stamps. I’m pleased to say the job is now done (tax returns, groan) so I’m free to play. Yippee.

I’ve made this project just in time to join the latest CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge.

As you can see, it’s a colour one.

This is what I came up with.

The Soft Suede lacy image to the left was stamped off before I stamped onto the Very Vanilla cardstock. The flowers were coloured using a Blender Pen. This meant that the colours could be made a little softer on the outside of the flower petals and darker in the centre.
The sentiment stamped in Soft Suede comes from the Suite Sayings stamp set. This is becoming one of my go to stamp sets for sentiments. There’s something for everyone in it.
Details of the products used are as follows:

Don’t forget that this month, each £45.00 spent (excluding P&P) earns you a £4.50 Bonus Coupon that can be spent between 2-31 August. If you fancy taking advantage of this great deal, click on any of the images above to be taken to my online store. Don’t forget that if your order is less than £150 you could use this month’s hostess code to receive a little something extra from me.

I’ll be back soon with another project but in the meantime, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think of the card.

  1. I agree with the others – the lace border is beautiful and between you and Jane this week, I may have to add that set to my next order! Lovely CAS card, thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches again. Liz x
