This weekend I’ve held two classes, Friday night and yesterday morning. I featured the new Moroccan Nights stamp set together with the co-ordinating Designer Series Paper.
Everyone who came, made three projects using their kit. They had more than enough for all three and happily went home with the excess.
We used the Baby Wipe Technique to make one of the cards (the one on the bottom left). This was a totally new technique to a few people, and there was certainly a lot of wowing going on. I love sharing new ideas and techniques. Some liked this technique so much that they made two of this card – the theory being keep one and send the other.

Gate fold cards are a great way of showing off Designer Series Papers and also large stamps, such as the one in the Moroccan Nights stamp set.. You can really make a statement with this style of card.
Of course, the inside and the envelope are decorated using the same technique. You won’t get the exact same image twice.
