Some of you will know from previous posts that I’m taking part in Shannon West’s mission to send birthday cards instead of simply writing a quick message on facebook or the like.

There is however, no reason why sending cards or other handmade goods should simply be restricted to birthdays so I’ve also joined the #imbringingRAKcardsback. RAK meaning Random Acts of Kindness. Who doesn’t love to receive a card so why restrict them to birthdays?

I have been the lucky recipient of two cards. They certainly brought a smile to my face when I opened the envelopes.

The first one came from Rebecca Chivers

I love that the caravan has been stamped on the Designer Series Paper and then cut out and glued to the stamped image. Such a fun card that brings a smile whenever I look at it.

The second one winged it’s way from the USA from Jennifer Spiller.

Jennifer’s cute card was made using a Paper Pumpkin kit, something we don’t get here in the UK (sad face). I love the gold swirl which is a die cut and not metallic thread. I’m coming to love metallic thread and have worked out that it’s one of those things were the more you use the better!
I’d love to share the cards that I’ve sent but I don’t want to spoil the fun for the recipients. I will however post photos in a few weeks.
