When I saw the last week’s colour challenge on the CAS – Colours & Sketches Blog my first thought was that it had a rather retro feel. I can remember my Mum’s dresses back in the late 60s and early 70s (showing my age now) with these colours in.

I’m too late to take part in the actual challenge but thought I’d share what I made anyway. This is the colour combination that they had.

I sometimes find it difficult to put a greeting on my card fronts and this was one of those occasions. I guess this card can really be used for all sorts of occasions. This was my first attempt – no greeting.

And, this is it with a greeting added.
And this is me taking it a little further with the addition of some die cut flower centres and a bit of bling. The flower centres were made using the Botanical Builder Dies.
Of course I had to decorate the inside, and the envelope will also be decorated to match.
Details of the products used are as follows:
I actually like all three cards but please drop me a comment and let me know which one you prefer.
Don’t forget that the bundles currently in the Annual and Spring/Summer Catalogues will be retiring at the end of May. Some of the products may be available individually in the new Annual Catalogue but by purchasing the bundles before 31 May, you will save 15%. The Botanical Blooms is available as a bundle and also includes the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.
