This past weekend Pip and I organised the first training day of 2016.

Lots of fun was had by everyone and we received some lovely comments about the projects that we had put together. I’ll share a couple of them later in the week.

Fifteen of us joined in the swap and this is what I made for mine.

I used the Crumb Cake Notecards that come with envelopes (20 of each in the pack). We don’t normally do full cards for swaps but I decided that this time I would do a full card with co-ordinating envelope (hate to send naked envelopes).
I used the Grateful Bunch stamp set. There’s no need for fussy cutting these flowers, because the co-ordinating punch will do all the hard work for you. In fact, it punches all three flowers out at the same time. Don’t worry though, because the flowers are all on the one stamp so there is no need to ensure you place them correctly on your acrylic block.
I stamped the flowers using Lost Lagoon ink and coloured them in using Soft Sky and So Saffron markers.
You can’t see from the photo, but all the flowers are glittery. I used the Clear Wink of Stella on them to give a little sparkle. I love the pen and was really excited when it was announced that they would be available in the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I have the gold one too but have to admit that I’ve not used it yet.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the products used to make this card, details are as follows:
