or as it’s otherwise known, Stamp-a-Stack time.

Saturday saw this year’s event and everyone made 18 cards – 3 each of 6 different designs.

My Craft Studio before everyone arrived

Class packs, instructions and a little edible gift (it was Halloween after all)

I designed three cards in the more traditional Christmas colours of Real Red and Old Olive and three other in a more modern combination of Smoky Slate, and Soft Sky.

Here are a couple of my favourites.

The snowflake is in fact the reverse side of a Spider Web Doily.
The stamp from the Jolly Christmas stamp set was inked using
Real Red and Old Olive Markers.

The stamps come from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set and the sparkly stripe at the bottom
is in fact some Washi Tape from the Season of Cheer Washi Tape set. The sparkle is from
Dazzling Diamonds that were glued on.

Insides and envelopes were stamped too. This meant that everyone went home with 18 cards ready to be sent. Probably not enough to fulfil everyones card list  but at least a good start.

I have one other all day event on the 21 November and details were in my latest Newsletter. If you don’t subscribe to my Newsletter but would like to know more drop me a line via email and I will send you the information. If you can’t make this month’s but would like to know more about classes in 2016, details will be posted on here soon.

I’m off now to work on my swaps for my trip to Brussels next week. It’s Stampin’ Up!’s first OnStage Live event and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be posting photos and snippets of gossip (only the stuff we are allowed to) on my Oakfield Crafts Facebook page.

In the meantime I do have other projects to share with you on here so don’t panic if you are not a fan of Facebook.
