I hope you have been having a great Bank Holiday weekend. I’m home alone at the moment which means that I have lots of peace and quiet in which to craft. I’ve been making the most of it, as I have a whole board to fill with new projects to showcase the new Annual Catalogue.  I know I have a couple more weeks before my Open House (6 June) but time has a habit of disappearing in this household,  so I have been keeping myself busy by making a few things.
This is just one of them. Made using a few new products – You’re So Sweet stamp set, Envelope Paper and the new Neutrals Colour Collection Designer Series Paper. I also used the new Banner Triple Punch.

I made the packaging for the card using the Mini Treat Bag Framelit Dies and also the new Envelope Paper in the 2015-2017 In Colors. The Envelope Paper (20 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper) will also be available in a Neutrals pack (Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Kraft) come 2 June.

There are four banners on the front of the envelope. The top most banner was stamped and cut out by hand. The bottom three banners (Whisper White, Mint Macaron and one using the Neutrals Colour Collection Designer Series Paper) are strips that I had cut and then punched using the Banner Triple Punch (it will cut strips that are 2.5 cm, 3.8 cm and 5.1 cm in width).

The You’re So Sweet stamp set has 9 images but I’ve only used the banner on for this project. The banner along with the star and heart co-ordinate with some of the dies that come with the Mini Treat Bag Framelit Dies.

I’m not afraid to admit it, but I am totally in love with the Neutrals Colour Collection Designer Series Pack. The designs are new (dots, stripes, flowers and script) and there are 40 sheets of double sided paper, including silver and gold metallic ink. I used one of the silver sheets for this project.  It’s not a shiny metallic so it gives a lovely subtle effect.

I think that this project would make a great card/gift for a wedding or anniversary and the sentiment could easily be changed if you want to make more of these for invitations.
