I purchased one of the Hello Life Simply Created Kits to make as part of the display for the recent Sandown Show. I was a little nervous about this as I have to admit that I don’t often buy kits.

When I received the kit I was amazed as to how much is in it, the photo in the catalogue really does not do it justice. There is tons in there.

This is the finished frame that I made and now have hanging on the wall in my craft room. The greetings come from the co-ordinating Hello Life stamp set.

My family – these are all recent photos as they were taken over the Christmas period

As you can see from below, once I’d made the frame I had tons of bits and pieces left! Stickers, hearts, banners, frames and even a pom pom that I had decided not to put on the frame (they got a little crushed in the travels to and from Sandown so were not looking their best).

Not wanting any of it to go to waste I added a couple of sheets of Hello Honey, Basic Black and Whisper White and made some cards.

I have made eight cards but still have lots of bits left, which I  will save for another day. I’ll be sending one of the cards to my husband George for Valentine’s Day.
