It’s my husbands birthday this week and as usual my card supply is a little lacking on the male card front.

I have been on a bit of a Four Feathers in neutrals spree, but thought that they would make a great combination for cards for men. I decided to take it a little further by using the framelits too. So, these are what I came up with.

Early Espresso card base with Very Vanilla mat

All three cards are the same basic design but with some minor changes. It’s surprising how such minor changes can make such a difference to the cards appearance. In the end, I couldn’t decide which of the cards to give to George, so I had my niece help me choose one. She chose the bottom one, which I have to admit is my favourite of the three (but I wasn’t going to tell her that at the time).

Just in case you are wondering, George does not read my blog so it’s safe for me to share here (famous last words).

The Stampin’ Up! supplies that I used to make these cards are:

Apologies, I have no idea why all the supply information is in yellow – I’ve tried amending it but no luck, sorry.

I’m going to use this design again and make some anniversary and other cards that I have a very small supply or even none of.
