Phew, I’m finally done with all the wedding invitations and table favours. I’ve also finished all the preparation for this weekend’s team training and a class I have the following weekend. This means I finally get to play with some of my new goodies. Yippee.

First off, I thought I’d play with the new In Color Inks (Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist) and I decided to marry them with one of my favourite stamp sets – Flower Shop.

I made the same card three times but used different In Colors on each. I love these new rich colours. I haven’t made up my mind as to which is my favourite as yet, but I’m leaning towards Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon, but they are all really lovely colours.

Using the Flower Shop stamp set, I first stamped a flower directly onto the Whisper White card front . I then stamped two more flowers in a different colour onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and then punched them out using the co-ordinating Pansy punch. The greeting comes from the Four You stamp set and the little dots in the centre of the flowers are Regal Candy Dots – I used the Crushed Curry ones.

I have lots of other things to share (it’s been a really fun day) but I’ll save them for another time.

Don’t forget to check what’s on this week’s Weekly Deals.

Also, there are just under two weeks left of the month so check out the Retirement List for that much sought after but not yet purchased item that will no longer be available come 30 June.
