With my limited supplies of stamps and card stock here I thought I’d try a simple challenge this time round. I found my ideal one in the (CAS) Colours and Sketches Challenge # 70 which is a simple colour challenge.

What’s more it’s shades of black and I love monochromatic colour schemes.

Here’s what I came up with

In case you were wondering, the greeting comes as part of the Hip Hip Horray card kit. I did use all three shades (Basic Black, Basic Grey and Smoky Slate) on the card but my photography leaves a lot to be desired and you can’t really tell.

I’m off now to make Michael a congratulations card. We learned this morning that he has been offered a place at DePaul University to study game design. He is really excited because this was his first choice of college. We are excited for him and very proud too. This is a great opportunity for him and I know that he will enjoy being in college in Chicago.
