It’s busy here in at the moment. Mum is moving next Tuesday but I have so far managed to avoid doing too much on the physical side (love you Mum – I know she looks at this on occasion), but I’m on call should the need arise. I’ve been helping her with all the legal and financial stuff and I’m pleased to report that all is now sorted on that front.

Myself and another demonstrator are holding a joint Team Training event here on Saturday and I am busy preparing for that. There are lots of Sale-A-Bration and Spring/Summer samples all over the tables in my craft room. I can’t share them at the moment but will do so next week once everyone has had a chance to see them on Saturday. I’m so glad that I’m sharing the workload on this – I’ve designed four samples for two of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets and a further two samples for each of the two Spring/Summer stamp sets that I chose. It should be a fun day – there are sixteen people coming and I’ve had to move some of the furniture around so we all fit in. Each person attending will receive a goody bag with all their card stock and embellishments in and we between us, Diane and I will have some 24 cards for them to make. I doubt whether they will be able to make everything on the day but each person will also have a photo of each of the cards so that they can finish them at home.

Anyway, as I sitting down enjoying a cup of tea yesterday, I realised that it was only a month until Valentines Day. As I already had one of the Sale-A-Bration sets on my desk I thought I would have a quick play and this is what I came up. It’s not often that I make a square card, and this one is 4″ x 4″.

Banner Blast stamp set with co-ordinating Banner Punch

I love that this year, we have another co-ordinating punch and stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  The banners are so cute and of course you can use the punch to make banners from Designer Series Paper and card stock too.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp sets : Banner Blast (SAB) and A Round Array
Ink : Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding and Calypso Coral
Card Stock : Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White
Accessories : Banner Punch (SAB), flower punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Basic Rhinestones and Dimensionals

I will be posting other Valentines ideas over the next week or so. Check back when you get a chance and see what else I’ve come up with.
