I was up really early this morning so I thought that before I up date you about this month’s offers that I’d quickly share the second Make & Take from the Creative Tour.

I finished this project last night so that it would be dry enough to show you this morning.

Muslin bag with no contents

Added some contents so you can see it standing up

The original Make and Take bundle that we were presented with used another stamp set, but we were given the single Love & Joy stamp to use (and take home).

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp set : Love & Joy
Ink : Marina Mist Stampin’ Pad and Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker
Accessories : Mini Muslin Bag, Marina Mist Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread, Frosted Finishes Embellishments

Tips for stamping on the Muslin Bags include

  • Insert a piece of card into the bag before stamping to prevent the ink from seeping through to the other side of the bag. The material will soak up the ink.
  • Use a marker to draw around the outside of the image to give it even more definition. I opted to use one in a darker tone.

I love these little bags and will be using some of them as packaging for some Christmas Presents this year.

This month’s Best of stamp set is the Best of Sale-A-Bration. There are six stamps in this month’s offering. I loved the Bliss stamp from the Bliss stamp set (from 2011) so I’m really pleased to see it in the collection. This is the last in the series of five Best of stamp sets that were introduced in June. They will be available until 31 March 2014, or while stocks last.

And there’s more….
