I was umming and ahhing when the 2013-2014 Catalogue came out as to whether I should get this stamp set and I am so pleased that I took the plunge. I’ve seen so many different ideas on peoples blogs and of course on pinterest, that I know that I will have lots of different ideas for it’s use.

The flower-head itself is a fairly large stamp and I thought I would give it a go with the babywipe technique. Here are a couple of cards that I have come up with.

Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding Stampin’ Ink Refills

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp set : Regarding Dahlias
Card Stock : Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White
Ink : Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding ink refills

Sorry for the wonky photo – I do have new glasses on order!

I’m really pleased how these cards turned out using some of the new In Colors. I also have to admit to using the new Magnetic Platform in my Big Shot to cut the Crisp Cantaloupe frame. No more post it notes to keep the framelits in place. I cut the frame out in one go – I would not have done that when using post it notes.  There is however, one small problem with the Magnetic Platform at the moment and that is, that it is out of stock.  Demand for this new product has been so high that there will be none available to order until the Autumn. Those of you coming to class will be able to test this product out for yourself, but having only used this a couple of times I think it’s brilliant.
