Thank you to everyone who popped over to say hello at last Saturday’s Charity Craft Fair. I would love to say that the place was buzzing with people but I think that the hot weather won and people decided to make the most of it.

I don’t have a card to share with you today, just a little something that I made to go on my display for the craft fair. I saw this little easel in a local craft store in the USA (it shares the same name as my son – but not by design!) and thought it would make a cute display item that can be put on the shelf or any where for that matter.

The easel came with a white board so I covered it with a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Gingham Garden pack.  The greeting from Happy Day was stamped in Melon Mambo and cut out using one of the framelits from the Apothecary Accents die set. I used an Island Indigo Stampin’ Write marker to draw dots around the frame. The string of flowers is a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine and the flowers come from another piece of DSP from the Gingham Garden pack. I cut the flowers out by hand and popped the two outside ones into Island Indigo card stock.

I also made some covered notebooks. You know me, I am forever covering things with Designer Series Paper to make them look pretty and less boring.

This was my table at the Craft Fair – I did not get a chance to take a photo later in the day so this is before everyone arrived. Maybe you can spot some of the cards and things that I made the last few weeks when I was in the USA. I’m glad that I took time to make them as it is always nice to have something new to show.

I am off on holiday with my husband at the moment. I have a couple of other things scheduled to post while I am away so check back on Thursday so see what’s new. Unless of course there’s some big piece of exciting news to share before then.
