I have been a little remiss over the last week with my posts and I hope to make it up to you this week.

I arrived home yesterday to find a lovely parcel sitting on my craft table – it contained my latest SU goodies.  I had to wait until today until I could play as I had plenty of washing and ironing to catch up on. The washing is all now done, but to tell the truth I really don’t feel like doing the ironing in this weather – any excuse to get out of it. What’s more, George has now gone off to the USA for a few weeks so that means I get to play 24/7 in my craft room should I so wish.

I have been checking up on the latest challenges and spotted a couple I thought I could combine and then I thought better of it.

The challenge that I thought I’d do, is the latest from CAS – Colours and Sketches Blog. It is their Challenge #34 – Colour.

My box of goodies contained the Beautifully Baroque stamp. This is a single stamp and I have to admit I was quite surprised by it’s size. I’m not really sure why, because the images of the stamps shown in the catalogue are true to size unless otherwise stated.
I stamped the image a number of times – once in both Chocolate Chip and Summer Starfruit and twice in Crumb Cake. Each of the top three layers were cut out using my trusty paper snips.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Beautifully Baroque
Card stock : Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White
Ink : Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Summer Starfruit
Accessories : Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals and Paper Snips

As always, please feel free to leave comments.
