Yesterday I shared a couple of the projects that were made in the classes that I held over the weekend. Today’s post is a card that I have made as a sample for Friday’s Technique Class – the Stained Glass Technique.

I’ve not tried this technique before and I had great fun trying it out. Hopefully those coming to class on Friday evening will enjoy it too.

The Stampin’ Up! supplies used are:

Stamp set : Bordering on Romance
Card Stock : Vellum, Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum
Ink : Raspberry Ripple, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum Stampin’ Write Markers
Accessories : Ovals Framelits, VersaMark, White Embossing Powder, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon, and Dimensionals

I’m out today delivering one of my Stampers 6 Club orders but plan to make another sample for class later. Not sure that I’ll share it before class though. Have to keep some things a surprise!

Oh, I nearly forgot there are a couple of other things that I wanted to share.

Firstly, I am pleased to announce that the card I entered in the CAS – Colours and Sketches Blog – Challenge No. 22 won a Top 3 Pick. Click on the link to see the other winners. Thank you ladies for choosing my card.

Secondly, I mentioned in class this weekend that I might change the theme for next month’s class. I have decided to change it, and thought that it’s about time we made some more of those hard to figure out cards for the men in our lives. So the theme for next month’s class is now going to be “For the Men”.
