Friday night a group of SU demos got together here at my house and I put together a make and take for them. Their only instructions prior to arriving was to bring their Snail Adhesive and 2 x 1p pieces.

The card was CASed from Dawn Olchefske (Do Stamping with Dawn) but I simplified it a bit. Here’s a photo of the card that they made (they had a choice of two colour ways).

In case you aren’t certain the pinwheel does spin as it moves from side to side. I was going to make my own video but my efforts were really (and I mean really) rubbish so I am afraid that you are going to have to forgo that delight! If you click on the link to Dawn’s site above, there is a video of how to make the card – it is really simple and fun to do.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp set : Curly Cute
Card stock : Whisper White, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze
Designer Series Paper : Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze from the Regals and Subtles Designer Series Paper Stacks
Ink : Riding Hood Red
Accessories : Word Window Punch, Pinwheel Sizzlet die, Mini Brads and Dimensionals

This is my version of the card shown on Dawn’s video so it has the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (and I also used one of the greetings from Best Ever Dad).

I will try and post another project tomorrow. My daughter has just returned from three weeks in South Africa so there’s lots of excitement and noise and not a whole lot of crafting going on at the moment.
