I have for the last three months had quite a few shadow boxes hidden in a cupboard (they were a bargain – at least that was my argument when I bought them). So far I haven’t done much with them. Actually that’s not quite true because I did make a Butterfly Picture (see my blog from 15 February ) and also a SU logo one for Make It, but that still leaves a few more than I’d like to admit.

With George now away, I thought it was safe to bring one out of hiding and here’s what I’ve done with it.

The frame does have glass but I took it out
to take the photo otherwise all you would
see is my reflection!

I tied a piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding
Ribbon in a knot to make the sash
I used a piece of co-ordinating Raspberry
Ripple card stock for the skirt

The cardigan was made using a piece of
Raspberry Ripple cut using the other
framelit. Basic Pearls were added as buttons.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp set : All Dressed Up
Ink : Marina Mist and Raspberry Ripple Stampin’ Write Markers
Card stock : Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple, and Midnight Muse
Designer Series Paper : Comfort Cafe and Print Poetry Stack
Accessories : Dress Up Framelit Dies, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Scallop Oval punch, 3/4″ and 1/2″ Circle punches, Paper Piercing Tool and Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Flower Trim, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, In Color Dahlias, and Basic Pearls

I had real fun making the dresses for this. In fact after I took these photos I decided to take it to another level so check back tomorrow to see what else I’ve added.
