A Stampin’ Up! friend and fellow Blue Angel, Amy had her first baby the other day. We have known for awhile that it was going to be a boy because her blog has featured a few baby things in blue!
With my limited supplies here in San Diego I have made this card to send to her and her husband.
The card has an Island Indigo card base on which I matted a piece of Pool Party and then Whisper White card stock. Some Whisper White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around a piece of Island Indigo Designer Series Paper and I tied it on a bow, before matting the DSP onto the Whisper White. I stamped the baby’s rattle from the versatile Button Buddies stamp set in Pool Party and then matted it onto a piece of Pool Party before fixing it to the card using Dimensionals.
To finish off the front of the card I stamped an Island Indigo greeting from the Curly Cute stamp set.
I finished off the complete card by adding some Whisper White card stock to the inside, on which I had stamped another rattle in Pool Party.
All I need to do now is mail the card to Amy in the hope that it will make it back to the UK before me!
