I wanted to share a card that I made for the Neutrals Challenge # 57 on the Simply Less is More blogspot. The challenge closed before I was able to post and link my effort but never mind. It gave me some inspiration to make the following, which is a great card to send to a male member of the family or male friend.
The card base has been made from a piece of Soft Suede card stock, and the paper comes from the Mocha Morning Speciality Designer Series Paper set.
The card has been stamped using Soft Suede ink. The message on the front comes from the Outlined Occasions stamp set which is one of the sets available as part of Sale-a-Bration. The image was stamped and then coloured in using a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write marker.
The inside of the card and also the front was stamped using a small stamp from the Spiced Paisley stamp set (Spring Mini) and there is an additional image stamped on the Very Vanilla that was stuck to the inside of the card so that whoever is giving it can write a personal message or greeting.
I’ve not used this set of papers before and I can see me making great use of it in future projects.
