OK, so Wednesday did not go quite as planned.  I spent the morning putting together a 3 drawer unit – it seemed a good idea at the time and I have done whole kitchens before so I thought that this should be relatively simple.  Famous last words. It all went together well until it came to putting the actual drawers together, and yes you guessed things started to go wrong. The drawer fronts did not have any pilot holes for the handles and to top it all the fronts are glossy so any errors with the drill and… and then of course the actual bolts that came with the handles were too short. A trip to the DIY shop and a lot of measuring and drilling and hey presto… the finished article.

Sorry, couldn’t resist putting a photo of it on here. I am quite proud of myself having drilled the holes in the right places and putting the whole thing together without any major mishaps. The reason I bought this is to put my daughter’s vivarium for her bearded dragon on it and to get it out of her bedroom. Personally I’d rather we did not have it all at, but it’s her pet.
Wednesday afternoon went well with the class held at my mother’s. They all made a broach similar to the one that I posted a photo of on Monday. The five of them were all pleased with their efforts.
I made the card below as part of this month’s theme, Glitter and Brads. No glitter but a few brads this time round.
The scallop card was made by running a piece of Calypso Coral card stock through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square die. Like the round scallop card featured on Wednesday, if you have the crease of the card inside the cutting area then the top is not cut off and is left as the fold for the card.

All of the stamps used on this card come from the Fruits and Flowers (Spring Mini) stamp set. The middle flower has two layers, the top one being cut out on alternate petals and then added to the bottom one using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  The Lucky Limeade brads come from the Designer Printed Brads set.
Don’t forget you only have until the end of April to purchase products in the Spring Mini and if you want to take advantage of the FREE stamp or paper sets available as part of Sale-a-Bration then you have until the end of March to make your £45.00 purchase.
