This is another of the lovely cards we made at our Baggie Book day. This one was made using the Outlined Ocassion stamp set and has a variety of techniques on it.
The base card was made out of Pink Pirouette card stock. A strip of Basic Grey Patterns DSP was added to the left hand side of the card front first. Then a strip of the red Sticky Strip was added next to the DSP and Dazzling Diamonds were stuck to it giving the lovely sparkly effect – you can see the pink through it. I love using glitter but have to admit that I usually end up with it all over the place – it’s amazing where I find it at times. But hey ho, who doesn’t love a bit of glitter once in awhile?
I then punched out 15 hearts using the Heart to Heart punch. They were punched out of scrap card stock in varying hues of red and pink (Real Red, Poppy Parade and Pink Pirouette). The Love sentiment from the Outlined Occasions stamp set was stamped a third of the way down the Whisper White card and it was then coloured in using a blender pen and some Pink Pirouette ink. The 15 hearts were then glued to the Whisper White card stock before it was glued onto the base card.
At the moment all my Baggie Book cards are sitting in bags with their fellow cards made using the same stamp set. I think I’m going to replicate this one for my hubby as it’s Valentine’s Day in a few days.
