I must be spending too much time on the internet and looking at other people’s blogs and not enough time on my own and on making cards. Mind you, if I hadn’t been surfing other people’s blogs I would not have found another tempting challenge.

This time it is one being run by Hand Stamped Sentiments, and it’s a color challenge using only Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy. See the following link for details HSSCT87

Anyway, here is my entry using the three colours some Whisper White cardstock and a few rhinestones.

I used the For Everything stamp set and stamped the flowers (Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie) on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then mounted it onto a piece of the Patterns Designer Series Paper in Night of Navy.  This was then matted onto a cardbase in Pumpkin Pie. The scrolls were stamped in Night of Navy on a smaller strip of Whisper White and this was then mounted onto the card base under the flowers but leaving a small strip of the Designer Paper showing. The greeting which is from the Just Believe stamp set was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then punched out using the Modern Label punch. It was then stuck onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock that had been punched out using the Extra Large Oval punch.
I had a great time designing my card for the challenge and I will be checking out the blog for future challanges and ideas. Why not check it out for yourself using the following link Hand Stamped Sentiments
