A couple of weeks ago a few of us met up at our upline, Cate’s house. All of us took swaps and the following is a photo of the one that I made for everyone. I thought that since we were starting to think about Christmas that I would use some of the stamps from the Welcome Christmas set.
I used an embossing folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the Real Red base card. I then stamped a square piece of Whisper White cardstock with the wreath in Old Olive and then used a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker to colour the berries. The berries were then highlighted further using some Crystal Effects. Sorry, the photo does not show the glossy red berries very well. The word JOY was then stamped using Real Red and a Real Red ribbon bow adhered to the top of the wreath. The stamped square was then adhered to a piece of Old Olive cardstock and the whole thing was then adhered to the embossed cardstock using dimensionals.
This was a pretty quick and easy card to make, and and I am sure that anyone would appreciate receiving an elegant card like this.
