Last Wednesday I held my first Memories & More Class, so I thought you might like to see the sample projects I made for the class.

A simple traditional 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page – I don’t do complicated or fancy pages. Using two of the cards from the Petal Garden Memories & More Card Pack along with two 6″ x 6″ sheets from the co-ordinating Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack. The rose die comes from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.

Two 12″ x 12″ Pocket Pages. These are so easy to do. You simply slot in the cards and photos you want to use and add embellishments if you want. Don’t forget to include a simple card for journalling. I have actually done mine but hadn’t at the time I took the photo.
If you don’t like 12″ x 12″ pages you can also do 6″ x 8″ pages to fit a smaller album.
Another option was to make cards.

Rich Razzleberry card bases
  • The base card on the left was randomly stamped in Rich Razzleberry using a stamp from the co-ordinating Graceful Garden stamp set. I wrapped a piece of the new Copper Trim around it and tied it in a bow.
  • The card on the right has a Sweet Sugarplum piece of card that was embossed with the Garden Trellis embossing folder. There is no stamping on this card at all.
Old Olive card bases
  • The card on the left has one card on it (originally measured 10.2 x 15.2 cm and I cut it down to 10.0 x 14.4 cm). The sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry.
  • The card on the right has a Sweet Sugarplum layer that was stamped using Sweet Sugarplum ink and the trellis stamp from the Graceful Garden stamp set. The sentiment stamped on the Petal Garden card was from the Rose Wonder stamp set and it was stamped in Rich Razzleberry.
  • Calypso Coral card base on the left has two of the 7.6 x 10.2 cm cards on the front. I had to trim them a little bit. I hid the join with some Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon.
  • Pool Party card base on the right has a piece of designer series paper from the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack glued to the front and then a matted 7.6 x 10.2 cm card added to the front. The sentiment comes from the Rose Wonder stamp set and it was cut out using one of the dies from the Rose Garden Thinlits.
Those that came to class received half a pack of the Petal Garden Memories & More Card Pack to each use and a quarter of a pack of the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack too. Everyone could then make either:
  • two traditional 12″ x 12″ pages or,
  • two 12″ x 12″ pocket pages or,
  • two 6″ x 8″ pages or,
  • cards.

Most went for traditional or pocket pages and then made a card! The cards and paper not used went home with them.

If you fancy coming to the next class it will be on 12 July and we will be using the Petal Garden card pack again. Let me know if you are interested.
