This weekend has been pretty busy, and I’ve only now had a chance to sit down and write this.

On Friday I held two classes. The first in the morning at the Handmade Craft Company over at the Holme Grange Craft Village and the second was my regular Friday night class that I hold in my craft studio.

Saturday morning saw the repeat of Friday evening’s class.

The theme this month was Spring.  For the regular monthly classes  we used the fabulous Special Reason stamp set and co-ordinating framelits. Those of us who attended the UK Stampin’ Up! OnStage Local back in April received a set of the stamps at the event as an all attendee giveaway. I knew straight away that I would just have to get the framelits too.

Here are two of the four projects that we made at the classes on Friday night and Saturday morning.

The Marina Mist topper on the bag above would look just as good on a card.

The larger flower has a So Saffron base which has been sponged with Calypso Coral ink so that it ties in with the die cut frame and also the card base. This card seemed to be everyone’s favourite out of the three cards made.

There are no regular monthly classes in April because I am off to OnStage Live in Amsterdam. There will however be the following, so it will still be a pretty busy month.

  • A Card & A Cuppa event on 5 April at The Grange Chocolate Cafe. This is a drop in session so no need to book.
  • An All Day Class on 22 April where we will be using the Custom Tee stamp set. You will also have the option to purchase the framelits too at the bundle price.
  • A Succulents in a Jar Class on 27 April (from 7.30 pm).
  • A Washi Tape Wreath Class on 28 April at the Handmade Craft Company.
Further details are on my Classes & Events page.
