Hey Chicks Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Hey Chicks Blog Hop. Hope you are having fun checking out all the inspiration using the two bundles now available.

 

I’m so happy that the Hey Chick stamp set has returned. It was such a hit back in 2017 and the chicken with the funky hair is adorable. The dies that coordinate with Hey Chick together with the dies that coordinate with the Hey Birthday Chick that’s in the 2021 Jan to June Mini Catalogue gave me the idea for the card I’ve made for the blog hop.

I made the insert for the card separately and glued it in once everything else had been finished.

The front of the card has been kept simple – one sentiment and some die cutting. The chicken wire die can be found in the Chick Dies.

The inside is where all the hard work happened. Dies from both the Chick Dies and the Birthday Chick Dies were used to create the scene.

The three  chicks come from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. By adhering them at different angles it makes them look like they are dancing.

The dies themselves emboss details as well as cut the shape.
