This week Karen has a colour challenge for us. There are a few stamp sets which went onto my wish-list from the moment that I opened the new catalogue. The On To Adventure stamp set is one of them.

The fun images from the On to Adventure stamp set can be used for many different occasions. What’s more, kids and adults a like will love stamping and colouring  the images.

On to Adventure

I started by stamping the image in Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I then coloured in the images using

  •  Bermuda Bay Combo Stampin’ Blends
  • Mango Melody Combo Stampin’ Blends, and
  • Night of Navy Combo Stampin’ Blends.

Once happy with the image, I cut it out using a Stitched Nested Label die. The die gives points both ends so I cut off the old on the left by running the image through the die machine again and used a long side of the same die to cut off the end. Just another quick and simple way of getting more out of your dies.

The sentiment comes as one stamp. Because of this, it was stamped a couple of times and then fussy cut using a pair of paper snips.

The inside of the card looks like this.

I just couldn’t resist the urge to have her peeking round the corner!
