This week’s sketch from Karen asks us to use straight lines in it. I hunted around my stamp sets (didn’t want to use double sided paper) and opted to use the detailed lines from A Little Lace.
Of course I used the other image too.
The stamp is not long enough to go the whole length of the card. So, there’s a bit missing in the middle. It’s hidden by the flowers, so that worked out well.
You’ll notice that the lines are not perfectly aligned either. There didn’t seem to be a good way to do it. All facing the same way or random so I opted for the random.
The die that coordinates with the stamp set is a background one, so no good for cutting out the flowers. Paper snips and fussy cutting was the way to go. I did however, cut off the pretty tendril bits to make things easier.
Stampin’ Blends in Mint Macaron and Balmy Blue were used to colour the images. each centre being finished off with an In Color Enamel
The inside of the card was simply decorated by using the line image once.
Hope you have enjoyed seeing my Lines from a Little Lace card. Don’t forget to check out the cards made by the rest of the design team. You can find the cards together with the link to add your project over on the CC&S blog.
Happy stamping.
