A Little “Stitched” Lace – CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #327

It’s the last Tuesday of the month and I’ve made a little “stitched” lace card as my design team inspiration.

The sketch we have to play with looks like this.

I went a little off piste with my card because I turned the whole thing 180°. What’s  more, I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies so the apertures are not exactly oval!

To make the card –

• Thick Whisper White card base – 10.5 x 29.7 cm. Scored and folded in half at 14.9 cm.
• Pretty Peacock panel – 10.0 x 14.4 cm. Glued to the front of the card.
• Seaside Spray panel – 9.5 x 13.9 cm.
  • On the reverse side of the panel, measure and make marks 3.5 cm horizontally and vertically from the four corners. Use these marks to make the diagonal cut across each corner.
  • Using the same Stitched Nested Label die cut three holes in the Seaside Spray panel.
  • Stamp sentiment from the Stitched Lace stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink.
• 2019-2021 In Color (Pretty Peacock) Double Sided Paper – 3.5 x 8.0 cm strips.
  • Adhere the double sided paper to the reverse of the Seaside Spray panel so that the pattern shows through the apertures.
  • Fix the Seaside Spray panel to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• 2019 -2021 In Color (Pretty Peacock) Double Sided Paper – 1.0 x 10.5 cm glued to the inside of the card.
