These past few weeks there’s no getting away from the Incredible Like You stamp set. I’m away from home and have very limited supplies with me. So, that’s why I’ve used it (yet again) for this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches challenge set by Jeanne. I should add that it is a fun stamp set to use and I’ve enjoyed using it while away.
The challenge this week is a colour one and I should have checked the details out before I left the UK.
By sheer fluke I brought a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write marker with me, so I did end up with all three colours. I used my Stamparatus to make sure that the Balmy Blue image stamped properly. The Stampin’ Write markers do work on Photopolymer stamps but sometimes you need to go over the image a few times just to be sure.
The flower image was stamped three times onto some scrap Whisper White cardstock and then fussy cut out. I then cut away more of the flower for the middle and top layer to “decoupage” the image.
Despite the fact that there’s been no getting away from the Incredible Like You stamp set, I hope it has inspired you to give the challenge a go. You will find the link to add your card over on the CC&S blog and you have until 11.00 pm (UK time) on 21 Jan to add your card.
