Hello and welcome to the last of our blog hops for 2018. You are currently visiting me, Fiona Whitten. This month we drew up a sketch for us all to follow, and I decided to dust off my Lovely As A Tree stamp set. Did you know that this set has been around in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue since 2002. And, it’s still going strong.
Here’s the sketch we had to play with.
Seeing as I had decided to use the Lovely As A Tree stamp set I opted for a more traditional look.
To colour the tree image I used my Stampin’ Write Markers in Garden Green and Soft Suede. The markers contain the same ink as the corresponding ink pads so I know they will always match the ink pads and also co-ordinate with the cardstock and paper.
Of course the inside of the card had to be decorated with the same image as the card front.
Sadly, Valerie will with immediate effect no longer be joining us. I can’t believe that we have been blogging together for past 2 1/2 years. Time has flown by. Valerie and her projects will be missed and we wish her well for the future. The rest of us will be taking January off but will be back with you on 3 February 2019. We’ll have a new look and hopefully some new team members too. There are exciting times ahead.
