Happiness Surrounds stamp set- CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #296

It’s the fifth Tuesday of the month which means that it’s time for a double challenge – sketch and colours. These are always fun and I decided to go with the Happiness Surrounds stamp set again. Here’s the challenge that Patricia and Karen have for us.

 

I don’t have any of these retired colours, so after I bit of searching and comparing. In the end, I used the following.

 

This is the card that I came up with.

The instructions for my  Happiness Surrounds stamp set card are –

• Merry Merlot cardstock – 10.5 x 29.7 cm scored and folded at 14.9 cm to create the base card. Alternatively use a piece measuring 14.9 x 21.0 cm and score and fold at 10.5 cm. The fold will then be on the side.
• Night of Navy cardstock panel – 6.0 x 12.0 cm. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card front once the Whisper White panel has been adhered and the ribbon wrapped around it.
• Whisper White cardstock panel – 5.5 x 11.75 cm stamped using Garden Green, Merry Merlot and Night of Navy ink. A small rhinestone was added in the middle of the stamped image. The panel was adhered to the Night of Navy panel using multipurpose glue and then a length of 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim was wrapped around and tied in a bow.
• Whisper White cardstock – 10.0 x 14.4 cm stamped using Garden Green, Merry Merlot and Night of Navy ink and then adhered inside the card.
