Happiness Surrounds – CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #295

This week’s challenge is hosted by Beverley and she has a sketch for us. I’ve chosen to use the Happiness Surrounds stamp set as my main focal point.

 

This week’s challenge is also part of the Design Team call. If you joined us for last week’s challenge don’t forget to take part this week too. Full details can be found on the CC&S blog.

I used a Mint Macaron card base along with some Balmy Blue cardstock and some Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper.

Details for my Happiness Surrounds card are as follows:

• Mint Macaron cardstock – 10.5 x 29.7 cm scored and folded at 14.9 cm to create the base card. Alternatively use a piece measuring 14.9 x 21.0 cm and score and fold at 10.5 cm. The fold will then be on the side.
• Balmy Blue cardstock – 10.0 x 14.4 cm adhered to the base card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP)-  3 lots 1.0 x 10.0 cm. Glued to the Balmy Blue layer. The first one being 1.5 cm from the bottom and then with a 1.0 cm gap between the other year.
• Mint Macaron cardstock – 7.0 x 9.5 cm adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Tranquil Textures DSP – 6.5 x 9.0 cm stamped in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink. Glue to the 7.0 x 9.5 cm piece of Mint Macaron.
• Whisper White cardstock – 10.0 x 14.4 cm stamped using Night of Navy ink and then adhered inside the card.
