Welcome. This month we have a colour challenge so I’ve made a Dragonfly Dreams Global Stampers card. You can find out why by reading on.
There are the colours we had to play with.
Sadly, Valerie is unable to join us today due to technical issues. Hopefully things get sorted soon so that she can be back with us next month.
My first instinct when seeing the challenge colours was to make something relating to Halloween but my stamp collection is a little lacking on that front. After a lot of picking up of sets and setting them down again, I decided on the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. We quite often forget in the excitement of a new catalogue that there is lots more to choose from in the main annual catalogue.
Here’s my card.
I stamped the dragonfly twice. Once onto the Whisper White panel for the front of the card. The second was stamped onto a scrap (I only needed the wings) and then fussy cut out. There are co-ordinating framelits to do all the cutting for you if you want to avoid the fussy cutting. The second set of wings were then glued to the panel just where the body connects the wings together.
