Seeing as it’s the third Tuesday of July, Jeanne has a colour challenge for us today.
When I pulled the ink colours off the shelf they struck me as being a “zingy” combination. I’m not sure if that’s a word but I hope you understand what I mean.
This is what I came up with using the Varied Vases and Swirly Frames stamp sets.
The Coastal Cabana ink was used twice. The first time with a solid background stamp and then the second time with the design. You can see the first layer showing through the lines as a lighter shade.
The original intention was for the card to be a simple one layer but I made a little mistake. As a result, I hand cut the frame out and then fixed it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
As you know, I like to decorate the inside of my cards. I used the same vase base image as the front, but I stamped a different flower.
