This month’s blog hop features the Share What you Love Bundle and I’m happy to announce that we have a full compliment of Global Stampers too.
I’m not sure if you have hopped from Robbie or Ann, or are simply starting here. Either way, welcome.
Although Mother’s Day has been and gone here in the UK, today is Mother’s Day elsewhere around the world. Because of this, the theme this month is Mother’s Day or Floral. And, the Share What You Love bundles certain fit the bill when it comes to floral.
I opted to make a special Z-fold card. It’s much easier to make then you think, so I dare you to give it a go.
- Love What You Do stamp set*
- Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper*
- Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder*
- Basic Black, Mint Macaron and Whisper White cardstock
- Mint Maracon Classic Ink Pad
- Archival Black Ink Pad
- Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Glue
- Stampin’ Trimmer and Paper Snips
There was a bit of fussy cutting going on when it came to the flowers on the front of the card and also on one of the inside panels. I love the look of the fussy cut flowers on the card, so I think it was well worth it.
The cutting instructions to make the card (finished size is 14.0 x 14.0 cm) are as follows
Basic Black cardstock – (i) 2 lots of 6.5 x 9.0 cm and the 2 Whisper White panels are glued to this once they are decorated.
(ii) 9.0 x 9.0 cm and the embossed Mint Macaron is glued to this.
Mint Macaron cardstock – (i) 14.0 x 28.0 cm scored at 14.0 cm and 21.0 cm (valley fold at 14.0 cm and mountain fold at 21.0 cm)
(ii) 9.5 x 23.5 cm scored at 7.0 cm and 14.0 cm (valley folded at 7.0 cm and mountain folded at 14.0 cm)
(iii) 8.5 x 8.5 cm embossed using the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.
Whisper White cardstock – 2 lots of 6.0 x 8.5 cm
Designer Series Paper – (i) 2 lots of 6.5 x 13.5 cm
(ii) 13.5 x 13.5 cm
Only one of the panels is stamped. The sentiment is in Black Archival and once it was dry, I then stamped the background image in Mint Macaron. Any questions let me know, I’m more than happy to answer them.
You can follow the links below to hop forward to Robbie’s Blog or back to Ann’s. A complete list of those taking part is below should you get lost.
Before you do go though, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think of my project. You can also follow me on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter too if you want to see more of my projects.
Happy stamping.
