Wow, this year is really flying by and I can’t believe we are now into August.
This week Patricia has a colour challenge for us.
On seeing the Blushing Bride my first thoughts were a baby card, but the issue was the addition of the Cajun Craze and Tempting Turquoise – not a combination I would have thought of for such a card. And, then I remembered that I had yet to christen a really cute stamp set and co-ordinating die set that would work perfectly.
I used the A Little Wild stamp set with it’s co-ordinating Little Loves Framelits.
There are three animals in the stamp set – a Bear, an Elephant and a Lion. Each stamp has both the front and back of each animal on it, so I couldn’t resist adding the elephant’s bottom to the back of the card. Too cute by far.
I coloured the flowers using Cajun Craze and Tempting Turquoise ink and a blender pen.
The sentiment which is also from the stamp set was punched out using the Pretty Label Punch.
My husband has already purloined the card to send to his boss and wife – they had a little girl a week ago. I only found this out after I made the card so it really is a case of make a card, send a card.
I hope you get to check in with the rest of the design team over on the CC&S blog. You can find the link of there if you fancy taking part in the challenge.
