This month we had free reign to use any of the new products from the new Annual Catalogue for the blog swap.
I have a few new products thanks to the pre-order and after a lot (and I mean a lot) of deliberation I decided to use the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
This is a photopolymer stamp set so it makes it really easy to do the 2 Step Stamping for the flowers.
The flowers on the card below were stamped in Basic Black and Emerald Envy and then I stamped the inside of the flower with Flirty Flamingo ink.
I paired the stamp set with the Pick a Pattern Designer Series paper. The card above uses the floral side of one of the sheets and the card below the other side of the same sheet. The black and white design on the paper really caught my eye the moment I took the paper out of the packet. And for once, I haven’t decided to hoard it away!
The Flirty Flamingo cardstock was embossed using the new Oh, My Stars embossing folder.
Of course I had to stamp the inside of both cards. I’ll get around to doing the envelopes later.
So, I hope you like my two little projects and here are the projects from the others. As always, you can click on the photos or the names to be taken to the appropriate blog.
Alicia has shared the cute bookmarks she has made, together with notebooks and a card. I’m guessing that they are for her catalogue launch but you should pop over to her blog to check this out to confirm.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment on everyones blog and you can find more information about the new products I used below. Please note that the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set is available in a bundle along with the Happy Birthday Thinlits but I didn’t use them.
