I’m not very good at keeping potted plants, in fact I am a complete disaster with them. When I saw the new Succulent Garden Suite in the Spring/Summer catalogue I knew that this was something I could make, and more to the point keep.
Those of you who came to the Make It Show in Farnborough last week may have seen my demo where I was making some of the succulents.
This is the pot I had on display, along with some of the succulents that I made. The ones above started as either Sweet Sugarplum or Mint Macaron. The coloured ink you sponge on the cardstock will determine the final colour of the plant.
Above, are some of other projects made using some of the other products in the suite. The card on the left was made using the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper and the Drapery Fold Technique shared on my tutorials page and the card to the left was made using the Oh So Succulent stamp set. I received the card on the left as a swap, but there is no name on it so I cannot give credit to whoever it was that made it.
I am currently in the planning stages of a new class to be held on Thursday 27 April where you will get to make a jar of succulents. The cost of the class will be £20 and all supplies will be provided including the container, stones, moss etc. Please let me know by 13 April if you are interested.

Thank you. Glad to have found one plant that I can't kill. x
